Building Community is Smart Business - hear Erica Kuhl, VP at Salesforce, share the evolution of Community becoming a strategic differentiator in the market
Movements as Part of A Business Model
1. Tap into a cultural movement / community – not the individual as is done in traditional models.
2. Do not focus on persuading people – it is about understanding & tapping into what they already believe or care about.
3. Emphasize sharing instead of selling. Think Pull versus Push marketing and engaging with your audience rather than talking at them.
4. Most importantly, stop talking about yourself / your brand and join a conversation about anything but your product but focus on the cause, belief and movement.
